Study on the Best Schools and the Happiest Students

Even though I am an educator who believes that testing plays too large of a part in the assessment of students in schools, I still find this study conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development very interesting. Happiness was ranked based on the answer that students provided when asked if they were happy at school, while test scores included students’ math, reading, and science scores. The full report for 2o13 has not yet been published online, but if you are interested in this study and how it was conducted, the 2012 results can be found at the end of this post
